Competition & Performance Team Opportunities

Jammin’ Jumpers combines practices, workshops and/or camps, competitions and performance opportunities into a team structure.  Three team levels are offered based on skill, maturity, and involvement.   Each team level has adjusted team expectations to encourage a natural increase in dedication and motivation for success.

Performance Team (Varsity, Junior Varsity & Juniors) - Local performances

Competition Team (Varsity & Junior Varsity) - Regional to national competitions with an opportunity to compete on National Team USA.

All athletes will receive a uniform, bag, warm up, jump rope, jump gymnastics, and team incentives.

Varsity

Registration Fee:  $100/month

Plus event expenses

September through July

Varsity performs and competes at the local, regional, national, and international levels.  

Jumpers learn intermediate to masters jump rope skills while building competitive and challenging routines.

Practices take place three to five times a week.  

Mondays 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesdays 5:30 - 8:00 PM

Thursdays 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Fridays TBD

Jumpers lead team activities that foster community service, leadership, and character building.  Jumpers are given staff opportunities within and outside of the team.  

 Jumpers lead Jump Gymnastics to increase their teaching ability while challenging their strength and control of intermediate to master skills.  

Optional travel opportunities are given with a coach's recommendation or by invitation.

junior Varsity

Registration Fee: $100/month

Plus event expenses

September through May

Junior Varsity performs and competes at the local and regional level. (Nationals by invitation)

Jumpers learn intermediate to advanced jump rope skills while building competition routines.  

Practices take place at least three times a week.  

Mondays 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Tuesdays 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Thursdays 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Jumpers participate in team activities that develop community service, leadership, and character building.  Jumpers are given opportunities to be staff in training (SIT) through team practices and team workshops.

Jumpers participate in Jump Gymnastics throughout most of the season to increase strength and control.

Optional travel opportunities are given as jumpers reach leadership and team expectations.

Juniors

Registration Fee:  $75/month

Plus event expenses

November through March

Juniors perform at local events. No travel or competition is required at this level.

Jumpers learn beginner to intermediate skills while building performance routines.  

Practices take place two times a week.

Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Thursdays 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Jumpers will begin to learn leadership skills through team mentoring opportunities.

Jumpers are encouraged to attend local team workshops and mini jump rope challenges.  

Jumpers may participate in Jump Gymnastics that incorporates floor gymnastics skills in combination with jump rope skills.

Leadership Opportunities are based on maturity, good standings with the team, and skill ability.

Leadership opportunities include:

1. Community Involvement - The jumpers learn to give back to the community by encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

2. Team Mentors - The jumpers will lead and mentor lil jumpers by leading team activities and routines.

3. Staff In Training (SIT) - The jumpers will learn to teach beginner skills, while going through our leadership program.

4. Junior Coach - The jumper will build on their teaching and leadership skills through workshop staff experiences.

5. Invitational Workshop Staff - The jumpers may have opportunities to travel as staff for other workshops locally, nationally, and internationally.

6. Assistant Coach - The jumpers may have opportunities to join the Coaching staff and lead the team with additional administrative tasks.
